Technology for Multi-axis Robotic Control and Programming
The new robotic programming incorporates a marriage between programming CAD models and servo or stepper motor motion. Use almost any brand of articulated arm, wrist and pivot points. Since CamSoft is the controller, small edits or complete programs can be done graphically right at the machine or off-line in the office. Any edits can then be instantly displayed graphically, visually animated and the finger tip motion path can be updated right at the control using our patented Kinematic technology. Kinematics solutions are provided for an OEM machine builder based on a particular model robot, which can be embedded into the control. Since all robotic mechanical designs, models, arms, pivot points and applications for use are different the cost is usually prohibitive to repair or retrofit a broken robot. Now you can bring just one old robot back to life. If you are an OEM and plan to make machines for re-sale to others, you will have a technical advantage and business advantage since we own the worldwide rights to 3-8 axis simultaneous compensation and multi-axis kinematic features. Put your own company logo on the screen. Have your own brand identity and password protect the logic files and unique kinematic math routines from view.
You do not need to know the math of how to program the kinematics or be a VB,C++, PLC programmer. The computer becomes the PLC. The software comes with a complete set of I/O, HMI & Motion Logic. CamSoft has an advantage. CamSoft owns the worldwide rights to a patent for multiple axes kinematic math when done at the machine. The technical name is called Kinematics (a fancy word for mechanical mathematics). There would also be a one-time charge for application assistance (labor) to set up the unique kinematics of the robot. We would be able to quote on this once we have seen diagrams of the robots pivot point locations, arm length dimensions, and where the wrist & joints bend.
For each model robot we provide a different group list of user adjustable wrist pivot point and arm length settings in the STARTUP.FIL file in a simple list so that the end user can make fine adjustments to the position accuracy and kinematics while on-site.
There are 2 ways to program a robot. The first way is the teaching method which is in-expensive to do. The second method utilizes CAD/CAM drawing software to draw and represent graphically the robot movements.
Now offering expanded 3 through 8 axis kinematic programming in real-time as an integral part of the robotic controller utilizing patented technology.
