Important PC Requirements:

Operator Interface PC

Any version of Windows from Windows 95 through Windows 10 32bit can be used as the operating system for the PC that will used for the Operator Interface computer. The computer hardware requirements should match at least the minimum requirements to run the Windows OS chosen. The PC should contain a CD drive and an available serial or USB port.

Host PC

The PC used as the host for the CS16600 motion card must run Windows XP only. The PC should have a minimum CPU speed of 3.4 GHz AMD Athlon II X2 or AMD Phenom X2 or 3.33 GHz Intel Core 2 or Intel 3.0 GHz Xeon Dual Core. The PC should have an available PCI slot for the CS16600 motion card. Camsoft's Premium MicroSystems computer or Camsoft's CNC Servo Box computer is recommended.

Important Host PC Restrictions

Rapid speed rates should be limited to a range between 25 to 600 IPM (600 to 15,000 mmpm). The computer must be dedicated to be used as the host computer for the CS16600 motion card and associated software only. The computer should not be made to run any other applications such as internet, vision cameras, screen savers, virus checking, schedule reminders, or 3rd party programs etc.
